Hello, I'm Claire Foss

I'm a married mum of two living in Hampshire.

I have 2 sons (one is a teenager!) a husband, elderly parents and many different hats to wear... so at times my life can feel hectic. Perhaps you feel the same way.

​

On my 41st birthday, I found out that a friend had died and my life changed dramatically.

​

She was a couple of years older than me, 2 children, a husband, was always vibrant and full of life, and the shock of this tragic news sent shockwaves through our little community, it hit our cores, hard. 

​

It de-stabilised me, the thought of something similar happening to me started to become all-consuming. 

​

This sent me down a path of unbalanced hormones, that dominated and ruined my life for many years.

​

I suffered from brain fog (I felt like I was on another planet some days), anxiety, migraines, cold sores, stress, panic attacks, random crying, I lost weight, I didn't want to see my friends, I felt no joy from things that used to bring me joy and If I'm being completely honest, at times I felt like I was on the edge of insanity.

It was frightening.

It was a very overwhelming, difficult, and upsetting period of my life.

​

I struggled on, day by day and after a period of time, I decided I needed to start taking action. 

It was essential to get my health and hormones back in balance.

​

It was at this time that I started training at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition and discovered the importance of nutrition to help nourish my body, from the inside out. 

​

I also undertook mindfulness classes and started meditating and exercising regularly, again. 

​

I believe it was the combination of all three changes that steered me back to balanced hormones and happiness.

​

This journey back to health, happiness and wellness made me realise the impact that stress and unbalanced hormones can have on your life; they dominate how you think, act and feel.

​

The reason I work with women, over 40 is that I'm on the same path as you. I know that my daily decisions regarding food, exercise and how I manage my daily stressors will have a huge impact on my day.

​

I don’t know about you, but I want and deserve to feel happy, energised, and balanced!

​

I want to eat well, sleep well, engage fully with my children, spend days at the beach. I want to laugh with my girlfriends, spend quality time with my husband and do all of these things with an abundance of energy!

 

I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist in 2017 at the highly-accredited Institute for Optimum Nutrition,

I am a full member of The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).  

 

Now I am able to share with you the secrets to happy hormones and balance.
