A simple, easy recipe with normal ingredients — nothing too fancy, because nobody needs the extra stress of hunting down the latest food fad ingredient.
So, what's your go-to comfort food?
One of mine is chilli. It's warming, filling, and endlessly satisfying — and this keto version is packed with protein and flavour without a single bean in sight.
The secret is in the spice blend. And finishing it in the oven. Trust me on that one. 🌶️
Keto Chilli (serves 3-4) Start to finish: 1 hour 15 mins
Ingredients
500g steak mince
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 stock cube dissolved in 1 mug boiling water
2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp onion granules
1 tsp chopped garlic
Method
Brown the mince in a deep pan
Add all the spices and cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant
Add the chopped tomatoes and stock, stir to combine
Simmer for 5 minutes, then transfer to the oven at 180°C for 45–60 minutes
Serve with your choice of fat boost (see below!)
