Keto Chilli

A simple, easy recipe with normal ingredients — nothing too fancy, because nobody needs the extra stress of hunting down the latest food fad ingredient.


So, what's your go-to comfort food?


One of mine is chilli. It's warming, filling, and endlessly satisfying — and this keto version is packed with protein and flavour without a single bean in sight.


The secret is in the spice blend. And finishing it in the oven. Trust me on that one. 🌶️


Keto Chilli (serves 3-4) Start to finish: 1 hour 15 mins


Ingredients

  • 500g steak mince

  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes

  • 1 stock cube dissolved in 1 mug boiling water

  • 2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp onion granules

  • 1 tsp chopped garlic

Method

  • Brown the mince in a deep pan

  • Add all the spices and cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant

  • Add the chopped tomatoes and stock, stir to combine

  • Simmer for 5 minutes, then transfer to the oven at 180°C for 45–60 minutes

  • Serve with your choice of fat boost (see below!)
