Chocolate Porridge

Oats - Chocolate Porridge (serves 1)

Start to finish: 10 mins


  • 40g Oats

  • 250/300ml liquid - Unsweetened milk - soya/almond/ cashew / full fat organic cow

  • 1 small banana

  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder - use less if you do not want it too chocolatey

  • 1 tbsp nut butter

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp chopped nuts/cacao nibs


  • Pop oats and milk into a pan, stir occasionally and allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes.

  • Stir in the cacao powder, and allow to simmer for 5 more minutes, add more milk if necessary.

  • When cooked, stir through nut butter, and top with chopped banana and cinnamon, you could also top with some chopped nut, fresh strawberries or cacao nibs for crunch
